Lectures

Every Monday from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. all residents attend academic teachings on various orthopedic topics as outlined in the curriculum. The presentation is by a member of staff of the department in the orthopedic seminar room. This time is protected, as all residents are relieved from clinical duties. The staff members are in attendance to moderate the session.

LECTURERS ATTEND THE  COSECSA SPONSORED TRAIN THE TRAINERS COURSE.

Dr. Tom Mogire (Left) and Dr. Fred Sitati, both Lecturers in the department of Orthopedics and Fellows of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) attended the  COSECSA sponsored Train the Trainers course. It was held on June 27, 2014 at the MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi. The course was aimed to prepare participants to more effectively teach surgical trainees in the art and skill of surgery.
