The Egerton University and East African Arthroscopy Association in conjunction with the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital conducted operations of the knee on 20th - 22th November 2014.

Dr. Sitati, a lecturer in the department of orthopedics attended the workshop as a facilitator.

 A Community Outreach orthopedic Project was held in September 2014 at St. Teresa Mission Hospital in Meru County. The Project is coordinated by Dr. Gakuya, a lecturer and Orthopedic Surgeon at the Orthopedic Department of the University of Nairobi. Members of staff who participated in the Project included Dr.  Fred Sitati, a lecturer in the department. Seven Registrars formed the rest of the team.

The  Rahima Dawood Traveling Fellow (RDTF) lecture by Professor Madiba from the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, University of  Kwa-Zulu Natal, S.A hosted by the College of Surgeons East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) and The Surgical Society of Kenya (SSK).
 

The venue was at the Kenyatta National Hospital, Lecture Theatre 3 on Tuesday 11th November.
 

The lecture was from 1pm to 2pm.

Dr. Andrew Ndonga. COSECSA Kenya Country Representative co -ordinated the event.
